Cannizaro Park’s Grade II* listed landscape has been 200 years in the making.  Over the years previous owners planted unusual trees and plants from all over the world, and now Cannizaro has the third highest number of county champion trees in Greater London after Kew Gardens and Syon Park, despite being a fraction of their size. We aim to maintain this tradition through regular planting of carefully selected specimen trees that extend the richness of Cannizaro’s planting.

All trees are agreed with Merton Council and are selected for their character or their habit, along with size, rarity and suitability for position and soil type.

If you would like to donate one of the trees we plant each year, we can commemorate a loved one on the tree’s label.

To discuss a tree donation further, please contact [email protected]  or write to: The Friends of Cannizaro Park, c/o Willow House, 35 High St, Wimbledon Village, London SW19 5BY.

Please note, to avoid the feel of a memorial garden, only plaques provided through The Friends of Cannizaro Park are permitted in the park. Any unauthorised plaques will be removed.
