Donate a commemorative tree
Cannizaro Park’s Grade II* listed landscape has been 200 years in the making. Over the years previous owners planted unusual trees and plants from all over the world, and now Cannizaro has the third highest number of county champion trees in Greater London after Kew Gardens and Syon Park, despite being a fraction of their size. We aim to maintain this tradition through regular planting of carefully selected specimen trees that extend the richness of Cannizaro’s planting.
If you would like to donate one of the trees we plant each year, we can commemorate a loved one on the tree’s label. Please note that to maintain the feel of a park, only the plaque provided through The Friends of Cannizaro Park will be attached to the tree itself and not placed on the ground. All trees are agreed with Merton Council and are selected for their character or their habit, along with size, rarity and suitability for position and soil type.
